The Annual Brisbane Charity Lunch in support of Help Enterprises is back!
We'd love to see you at our Annual Brisbane Charity Lunch on 7 September 2023.
In what's fast becoming Brisbane's 'go-to' networking and fundraising event, you're guaranteed a great day of fine food, wine and conversation... and it's all in support of HELP’s mission to enhance the lifestyle, independence, and ambitions of people with disability.
This is the 8th year Help Enterprises hosting the annual Hymans lunch, and we're hoping to make it our biggest and best yet!
Ian Hyman has been raising funds for charities supporting people with intellectual disabilities for over 25 years.
To date, over $800,000 has been raised from the Brisbane lunches in support of Help Enterprises.
This event attracts an audience of around 500 professionals from a range of sectors including major legal and accounting firms, insurance brokers, private equity, financial services providers, and more.
Help Enterprises exists to enhance the lifestyle, independence and ambitions of people with disability.
We are a social enterprise on a mission to make the world a more inclusive place for everyone.
At the heart of who we are is our people. For over 50 years, we've been supporting people with disability through our services, infrastructure and employment opportunities.
HELP's services include:
- disability care
- housing and accommodation
- employment services
- supported employment
- social enterprise businesses.
We provide inclusive and meaningful employment for people with disability. Over 400 supported employees currently work in our social enterprise business across a range of industries.
This year, our event takes on a thought-provoking theme: Disability can happen to anyone at any time.
Prepare to embark on a powerful journey, exploring the unexpected twists life can bring. Without giving too much away, we’re excited to announce that two renowned Australian sporting heroes will join our panel this year. Both men have experienced life-altering events that transformed their destinies.
They’ll join emcee Ian Skippen in an enlightening and heart-warming conversation about life's unpredictability, living with disability and how they’ve gone on to lead extraordinary lives and empower others to do the same.
Don't miss out on this unparalleled experience!

This September 7, we will be gathering in the Brisbane City Hall.
Since 2018 HELP has produced over 2700 mailboxes for Hutchinson developments, generating over 9000 hours of full-time employment for our team members with disability. Working with businesses like Hutchinsons gives our team a sense of pride, a place to learn new skills, and the opportunity to participate in meaningful employment.
But it’s not just HELP employees with disability who stand to benefit, the positive impacts flow both ways.
